Thanks to our internship programme, you will be able to work in a real working environment. With us, you will learn how to manage projects, carry out translations in various fields, as well as learn how to use new translation tools.
Below, you'll be able to see in detail the tasks you'll perform:
- Translation of articles and texts from various fields (legal, scientific, marketing, economics)
- Translation projects of various types of texts.
- Translation and revision of texts in your working languages.
- Creation of advertisements and databases.
- Creation of terminological glossaries.
- Content management in Spanish and English.
- Community management multilingüe.
- Project management ( quotes, translation and networking).
- Multilingual SEO optimization.
You will also be able to do your internship from home. However, if you would like to come to our office, we can discuss and arrange some days to attend in person.
Internship content
We want you to be able to analyse, create and revise translation projects, to acquire a solid knowledge of computer-assisted translation, computer-assisted translation and localisation tools. Be able to use specialised and professional metalanguage. If you don’t happen to have all this knowledge, don’t worry! We will teach you from scratch.
In addition, you will acquire specific knowledge that will enable you to carry out work specific to the professional profiles of the degree. At the end of your internship, you will see how all the knowledge you have acquired will take shape and turn you into a great translation professional.
Competencies
It is essential for us that you are able to work in a team and that you are fluent in one or more languages. You should also know and be able to use some CAT tools, know how to use the Office package, as well as know certain terminology and translation strategies. The student’s attitude towards daily work situations is also a plus: discipline, order, sense of humour and punctuality, among other aspects.
